Our daycare day is structured to ensure your pup gets plenty of play, rest, and personalized care.

1. By 9:00 a.m., our office closes for drop-offs and all dogs are settled in and ready for their day. Upon arrival, each dog is given access to their individual outdoor run, with fresh water and blankets provided (for those who don’t chew them).
2. Once morning+ boarding activities are completed—typically between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., depending on the number of overnight guests—our daycare dogs head outside for supervised play. They enjoy this time until around 11:15 a.m.
3. Afterward, we clean their runs and begin quiet time. Dogs who are scheduled for lunch receive their meals, followed by a bathroom break. From 12:00 to 2:10 p.m., the lights are dimmed for nap time during our staff’s lunch break.
4. At 2:15 p.m., we resume daycare activities with another round of fun and enrichment until about 3:45 p.m. After their final play session, the dogs come back inside to relax and prepare for pickup starting at 4:30 p.m., when our office reopens for the afternoon.

At Bed & Biscuit, we allow intact dogs to join Group Play up to 6 months of age for small breeds and up to 7 months for larger breeds. After this age, dogs must be spayed or neutered in order to continue participating in group activities. We offer 3 different kennel sizes based on breed, size, weight and behavior:

• Medium kennel: 3ft x 4ft
• Large Kennel: 4ft x 4ft
• Extra Large Kennel: 5ft x 4ft

Each of these kennels also include an outside area that is 2x-3x times the size of the area inside.

Our daycare day is designed to balance play, rest, and care for every dog in a safe, enriching environment. While daily routines adjust slightly based on boarding volumes and weather, the following describes what a typical day looks like:

• Arrival window: Daycare dogs arrive between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
• Morning play: We begin assembling daycare groups and taking dogs outside between 9:15 AM and 10:00 AM. Dogs are collected and brought back inside around 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM for water and rest.  We will flex our daily ending time later to make up for when daycare begins later, which naturally occurs in the flow of our year.
• Midday break: After morning play, dogs enjoy lunch or treats and nap comfortably in their individual kennels to recharge for the afternoon. During this time, our staff also cleans and prepares all areas to ensure a fresh, comfortable environment.
• Afternoon play: We start taking dogs out for afternoon play at 2:15 PM, with dogs collected and brought back inside between 3:45 PM and 4:15 PM.
• Pick-up window: Dogs are ready to go home between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

Throughout the day, dogs have access to our dedicated daycare building equipped with heating, air conditioning, and fresh water to ensure comfort in all seasons. In the summer months, we also offer pools during playtime to help dogs cool off.

Due to several factors that fluctuate day-to-day, the exact start and end times for outdoor sessions may vary. When that happens, we adjust by extending both morning and afternoon play as needed, ensuring dogs still receive a full, high-quality daycare experience with plenty of activity and care. We generally aim for more than 3.5+ hours or more of total supervised playtime per day, with a mix of group play, individual attention, and rest.

  • Large dog groups: Up to 20 large dogs, supervised by two staff members.

Group sizes and pairings are adjusted as needed to ensure safe, comfortable, and positive play.

•  Yes. If your dog is already enrolled in recurring weekly daycare, you are eligible for special discounted pricing on additional daycare days. If it is a new day your dog has not attended before, we will first conduct a one-time evaluation to ensure a good fit for that group and day — this evaluation is also offered at the discounted rate.

Please contact us in advance to schedule, and we will confirm availability and apply the discounted pricing for both the evaluation and the additional day.

All new daycare clients begin with an evaluation day, which costs $45. This includes a full day of daycare and a personalized behavioral assessment to ensure your dog is a good fit for our program and to determine the most appropriate group placement.

At the end of the evaluation, we will publish a detailed report in your portal and send it directly to you for your review, so you can understand how your dog did and what we recommend moving forward.
